About Me:
Just to make it clear, I am an actress and vocalist, and a part comedienne/impressionist. I am the Lead Female Vocalist in the "Thriller Live" World Tour, and have performed in London's West End as well. But by this time next year, I would LOVE to be in a Broadway Musical. It's just always been one of those things for me....
I would like to take this time to address an issue that is brought up to me on a day to day basis. Actually it's more of a question: "Why don't you try out for 'American Idol'/ 'X-Factor'?" Well, to be completely honest—I did! Once when I was 16 in Boston, and once again when I was 18 in Charleston. Back then, it was a dream of mine, since I was such a big fan of the show. I wasn't much of a looker, definitely wasn't a sex symbol, but I sang the best I could for a teenager with little life or performance experience and to my surprise, I actually made it past a couple of rounds. It was Nigel who told me, "You just don't have that sparkle in your eye." And so I was sent packing.
"What's stopping you from auditioning now?" Well, it's the simple fact that I consider myself to already have a stable and blossoming career. I wouldn't really want to be on a reality show and become either a mega star or a mega flop. I'd rather work my way through the business and end up where I'm comfortable. I already told you I would love to be on Broadway, but I would also love to be a voice actor at some point, and also to land some sort of paid job for my whistling. Crazy, I know... but so true.
I am 22 years old, going on 23, and so far in my life I have been a competitive flautist, taught by my mother, and have played in State Wide and National Orchestras, been in multiple theatre productions alongside some AMAZING performers, and taught children ages 11-13 the fundamentals of acting, performance, and music. I have so much more to learn, but I am confident and proud that I have left the children of Normandin Middle School with tools they can use well beyond college!
I am the oldest of 6 children. You may know them for their own individual accomplishments. I love you guys!
Quickly, before I wrap this up... I have a video or two on my channel entitled, "THE GREATEST SINGER ON YOUTUBE." I just want everyone to understand that I do NOT consider myself to be the greatest.... I honestly just wanted people to stop and take a listen. And it's done me very well, because the majority of you visiting my channel right this moment saw THAT video first!
