About Me:

I do studio recording and could play professionally, but I love teaching in the public schools. I play principal horn in the Orchestra at Temple Square, which accompanies the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on their CDs and weekly broadcasts. I also teach horn at Utah State University and do free lance work. After playing on a Conn 8D for 20 years I bought a Ricco Kuhn model 293X horn (Feb 8, 2010). I played on it for about a year and in March, 2011 I bought a Holton 276 "Merker" horn.

	Prototype6969 (1 month ago) Hi Steve I'm a, in my opinion, an exceptional high school horn player and am about to enter "solo and ensemble" season and have picked out my solo, but i find it a bit easy. I learned almost the whole piece in just three days. I am wondering if you have any ideas for a good solo that is challenging and is fun to play.
