We are the original hard rock cafe, established in 1934 to serve the local "hardrock" miners.

Nowdays we provide daytrippers, sightseers, skiers, and snowboarders great breakfasts and outstanding lunches.

The cafe is located in the heart of the Rockies on Hwy 40 about 2 miles west of exit 232 on I-70 W:

~ at elevation 8,615 feet
~ 60 miles southwest of Boulder
~ 58 miles east of Vail
~ 46 miles west of Denver

~ 10 miles west of Idaho Springs
~ 33 miles southeast of Winter Park Ski Resort
~ 17 miles southwest of St. Mary's Glacier
~ 5 miles north of historic Georgetown
~ 15 miles southest of Berthoud Pass
~ 9 miles east of the Henderson Mine
