I started making RuneScape videos in February of 2010. I originally only made vlogs with an occasional RuneScape related video on the side. I briefly did some gaming videos as well but I moved them to a seperate channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/GatosPro.
Because I've been getting some requests for the information on the software I use, I will list that here.
Gameplay video: Fraps ($38)
Real life Video: Webcam program that came with my PC
Audio: Fraps & Audacity (free)
Editing: Sony Vegas Movie Stuido Platinum 9.0 (~$100)
90% of the music in my videos comes from free podcasts such as Trance Euphoria and the Buzz Podcast. If you enjoy the music, try searching them on iTunes. It's easy and you will get hours of free trance and dance anthems!
I also use a random music generating software that came with Vegas, but I find that most of the music it genrates sounds very similar. Go figure.
