The worlds largest rc plane, the Byron 1:5 Scale B-29. During a flight, it crashed into the tops of a set of tree's in Ida Grove. It was later repaired and continued flying with the Expo and Striking Back. Later when Byron sold the Expo to the City of Ankeny, it continued flying at the new location. Today, it still exists and is located at the Iowa Aviation Heritage Museum, about 500 yards north of where the Expo site was held at the Ankeny Airport.
