I'm 17 and I LOVE the Arctic Monkeys (and Alex)! I just don't understand why not everyone loves them! I saw them at the Birmingham NIA in November, which was hands down best arena concert i've been to, and I spent basically all my money on AM merchandise! I also saw Alex do a solo set at the Little Noise Sessions in London, alongside I Blame Coco, Corinne Bailey Rae and Richard Hawley (who he did a collaboration with), where I got to meet him and the band afterwards :D I was actually shaking when i met Alex and when he spoke to me I could barely breathe! probably best moment EVER of my whole lifeeee even if i did nearly have a heart attack haha
I love Alexa Chung too even though of course I am super jealous of her! as if it wasn't enough to be beautiful, clever, funny and talented she gets alex as well?!?!
I really want to see ellie goulding this year too because i think she is amazing and her album is pretty brilliant! Even though I still like all her old acoustic stuff too. And Marina and the Diamonds' album was great as well. I'm also looking forward to I Blame Coco's album which comes out this year woohoo!
I disagree with the whole x factor-winner-must-have-christmas-number-one thing, because the music industry shouldnt be all about making money! and most of the winners don't write or play it themselves. And the chart always irritates me as well because the top ten are usually people who dont write it themselves, dont play it themselves and have been autotuned (eg Ke$ha) so they are kinda pointless!
Please comment if your are an AM / TLSP / Alexa / Skins fan or if we like any of the same music because i love talking to you!! because i could happily talk about stuff like that all day :D and I like finding out about new bands
