About Me:
Official Soja released his first single "Welcome" in high school which became a hit. Three months after dropping the single he was offered to perform at Cypress Creek H.S for the Black History Month program. While still attending high school he made 100+ people get up in scream (Get Welcome On iTunes). He has performed that single at high schools and nightclubs in Orlando, FL.
After realizing it was hard to get in the music industry in Orlando he had to find out a different hustle to get his name recognized in the industry. He put out several mix tapes and performed many shows. With his own money he started performing shows with a group and other artist in Tampa, FL and Miami, FL. Months after his name started to make noise back to Orlando, FL calling him Mr.407 because he was the youngest and bout the hardest worker. Official Soja later started expanding his creativity to the world by the internet.
Official Soja had everyone eye's open when he dropped his verse to the track Gotta Get The Cheddar. Everyone in the studio at that time was like "WOW did I just hear 2pac". That track was later played on WPRK 91.5 FM underground radio stations it was played five times that night.
In 2008 Official Soja signed a record deal with Brooklyn West Records owned by Michael Campbell with music distributed by (UNI) Universal Records and Bungalo Records but due to some misunderstanding Official Soja wanted out of the contract he refused to release any singles or albums until free from the contract. Official Soja was released from the label a couple years later which ended in January 5th 2011.
Official Soja is one of the hottest upcoming rap artist coming out of Orlando, FL. He has opened up shows for many artists in the music industry such as Rick Ross of Triple C's, Pretty Ricky and Ice Burg of Dunk Ryders.
Official Soja has put out single tracks with music videos to let the world know he is still here in putting in work. He is in the process of working on his new mix tape which is due to drop 2012. It has been 4-5 years scene his last mix tape. The release of this mix tape will prove whether or not he still has the mindset of an artist.
Official Soja has been working on how to be a Video Director/Editor for the future.
