A native from Chicago & raised in Atlanta... "Anah" has came on to the music scene && is takin it by storm.. " I've been writing since the 4th grade and singing since as long as i can remember..."-anah The music that she writes is powerful, meaningful, inspirational, && true to her everyday life... Music is her life && dream.. She pulls inspiration from the things that have gone on in her life... You can surely see that in her song entitle "Troubledsome Woman".. A song about her mother that is very dear to her heart... Looking through her song collection I stumbled across a piece called "City Lights".. When she sang it to me I was awwed in amazement... Beautiful. If you had to say who she'd sound similar to it would go a little something like this... If Solange Knowles && Janelle Monae had a baby... She'd be the offspring..Planning on taking the insdustry over one song with plenty of harmonies at a time... Her style is smoothe, soft, eclectic, vibrant, unexplanitory [[is the perfect word]] "I see the music industry as my symphony... I have my string, winds, brass, and all the other great instruments that you have that make up the perfect symphony...""I've had dreams of me making it big in this industry && i plan on doing so... I take every last dream that i have VERY seriously... Especially if it's dealing with music..."She was 1 of 103 in Ne-Yo's Star Search in 2005. Sang for a Dekalb County Commissioner when she was 11. Had multiple solo's while she was in both the school and church chiors. And she's not stopping there!Her talents consist of.. Singing [of course], writing lyrics, composing music, playing the guitar and keyboard.. With a hint of producing. She's a well rounded individual and her music reflecks that... Just wait and see...
