About this user

The Odio Su Tela project took its first steps towards the end of 2005. The initial line-up is composed by Raffaele and MigHell (vocals), Rudy and Davide (guitars), Taz (bass) and Mattia on drums and electronics (beats, synths, loops, etc.). The guys began writing songs from the beginning, the goal was indeed to give to the Italian crossover scene a band which they can define with, thanks to the lyrics in Italian and the songs with strong, immediate impact where music, power, aggression are melted in a very successful mix.
By the end of 2006 the band recorded its first demo, composed of 6 songs. The strategy decided to promote it was simple: distribute as many copies as possible. All songs were made available for free download, while all members were engaged in a capillary distribution of CD copies.
Besides writing own material, the band worked on remakes and mash-up. Two of these were recorded and put on line. The first one was Litfiba's "Fata Morgana", mashed up with The Prodigy's "Breath", whether the second was a tribute to Metallica: a mash-up based on "For Whom The Bell Tolls" containing parts of "One", "Wherever I May Roam", "Orion" and "Damage, Inc.". This mash-up had been included in a unofficial compilation tribute to Metallica organised by "Zonametallica.com" and has been awarded as the best performance of the platter.
In October 2007 Odio Su Tela signed a deal with the promotion agency Alkemist Fanatix Europe, with the aim of finding a contract for the publication of the first full length album. Autumn 2008 had been an important date for Odio Su Tela: the band signed a deal with the English record label Copro Records. This deal consists of two year distribution of the first full length album. The recording of the the album, entitled "Il Quarto Giorno" started in May 2009 and the whole making of the album lasted until November the same year. The release of the "Il Quarto Giorno" is planned for 2010.
