I agree with you capitalism is once again revealing its iniquity in the present economic crisis. The thing to realize though, is that this is not in any way abnormal. This is almost an exact repeat of past crises which have struck Asia and other places; and furthermore, the crisis itself is a product of the "boom" which preceded it. That's the reality of capitalism, when things are going well, it only means that you are setting the stages for a collapse; no progress is really sustainable when it remains in a capitalistic form.

I personally think we can expect a new arrival of a revolutionary mass consciousness which will be more or less socialist in character within the next few years.
