@oddsteven I think Nashville tuning actually is about the only way to make that sound good on an acoustic. . . I really don't care much for 12 string unless it's electrified, because I think the high strings interfere and make it too busy. It always ends up sounding thin to me acoustically.

@fridrikur Almost certainly not Terry McMillan - this was recorded about 1971, and Terry wasn't with Jerry until after 1975.

This is one of the greatest things he ever recorded. I love listening to it build into a jazz tune and then break down into country/bluegrass at the very end with the dobro. Awesome stuff from one of the greats.
