I am very lucky that I had danced to this piece when it came out. I was very young but we were the boys copying the cohort in front of us. When they went to high school we took over the reigns and danced our hearts out as the big boys in the village.

Béléla Authenticité Na Congres Ya M.P.R. I & II (Luambo Makiadi) - Franco & L'O.K. Jazz 1970
Explains itself. Wonderfully sung by Youlou Mabiala & Franco, with Simaro, Decca, Ntoya and Dessoin. No horns!!

I am recalling my young days how we used to dance to this song. If you did not know how to dance, you would be requested to leave the floor, so the best dancers with their ladies would continue, there was total compliance to this.
What does this piece mean? Siddikh, please explain!

Yes, those of us who were teenagers during the peak of this piece had the opportunity to dance- of course with beautiful age mates at high school. I am sorry to learn that it was about death!

It is painful that this kind of art was never rewarded. They only played to entertain people and still continue to do so.
They are great for ever and shame to those who stole from them!
