Well Daniel youre still young at 31 so if you're in good shape this is the time to join because the everage is like 24yrs so you don't wanna wait much longer also you have to get in the right mental controll cause some of the officers are assholes they fuck with your head all the time. What I would do when you report in don't give them your I.D or passeport and tell'em youre 26yrs old because now it's much harder to make it then when I joined now 1 makes it out of 16.Wll all the best I hope you make it god bless

You go to Chad desert training hydrate and march dehydrate and march. But for me Guyana was the worst la ENFER VERT jungle training it was so fucking hot and humid you'll pass out all the time march full uniform plus 45 kg back packs it was terrible.I was 100% sure that I'll desert to Brazil but my 2 other Hungarian friends talked me out of it.We got into a fight with locals in the the neighberhood bordello and I got stabbed 4 times in the abdomen and left kidney and I had to get blood transfusion. Well after I came to Canada I applied for the Canadian Forces and when I toke the physical I found out I had Hep-C the dr figured the only way I could got it from blood transfusion or inter vainous drug use.Well I didn't use drugs

Hi Daniel Iwas in the legion in the late 80s.But There not much have chaged.I still talk to friend who just retired last year.He said the biggest changes are that there is much, much less censure.Like when I served you couldn't make videos or pictures while in uniform it was very secretive because of the cold war. Also there are lot's of Chienese serving in the last 10 or so yrs.The thing is I was only 18 when I joined just a kid I was in very good shape cause I played water polo since the age of 6 but I had no respect for rules or for myself my parents did everything for me. The training the first six months very physical and I had a hard time to learn French because I'm Hungarian and our laungage so different. But for me after 6 months when you make it and sign on for 5 yrS(4.1/2)that's when the real mental abuse begin.
