This is my entry to the John V-Neun design challenge. Basically, this 'bot plays a "game" with you. A random bystander will walk up to the arena. An attendant will tell the bystander how to play. First, you place an object where specified on the red piece of tape. The robot will drive up to it and grab the object. Returning to the center, it asks you for the code. You must now answer the four questions correctly in order to get your items back. If you get it wrong, nothing happens. If you get it right, it will drive up and give you the object. But there's a twist: you get shot in the face with rubber bands as you retrieve the item from the robot. So even if you win, I actually win. Muahahahaha!
One thing I forgot to point out in the video was the reason for making the claw as I did. I noticed that with claws that had geared fingers, you could not easily manipulate strange objects. With this claw, you can. The fingers can all close to where they need to be, instead of one finger tightening but leaving the others without something to grab. My claw design allows for tight gripping with high traction. I was able to pick up my robot by the water bottle... can your Vexplorer claw do that?

Im not learning about vex robotics, and i saw this awesome TV show where there was a time machine.
It would be kind to explain to me how to make a time machine so i can go back in time and kill hitler.
THANKS!
I'm learning about vex robotics, and I saw this catapult robot, it was destroying everything at the competition.
It would be kind enough if you can explain throughly to me about how to incorporate a catapult system onto a vex robot.
THANKS!
