Founded in 2000 and based in Los Angeles, O'Malley Creadon specializes in non-fiction storytelling. Their first feature length documentary "Wordplay" was a breakout hit at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival and went on to become the second-highest grossing documentary of 2006. It was nominated for both a Critic's Choice Award and National Board of Review Award for "Best Documentary of 2006". "Wordplay" was the "Best Reviewed Documentary Film of 2008" according to Rottentomatoes.com (previous winners were "Spellbound", "Super Size Me", and "March of the Penguins").
