About Oceanflow Energy's Channel
Oceanflow Energy is a unique tidal energy device development company based in the UK.
Our device is a floating semi-submerged tidal turbine. The devices nick-name is Evopod (as in evolutionary). Picture it as a floating windmill that is powered by the movement of the ocean.
As the tide flows past Evopod, it turns four turbine blades, which in turn drive an electric generator housed in the device. Evopod is connected to the shore by a heavily protected marine grade cable where it can be distributed.
Tides literally run like clockwork. This is the key attraction for developing solutions to harness their power.
