@691je that makes a lot of sense. I do like Paul's power to the communities message. I think decentralisation is the way forward. However, I definitely need to read up more on his economic ideas to be able to pass anything like a proper judgment.

@rapesauceCF Agree. The government, as it works now, is just a enforcer for corporatism (we all know this from the Wall Street political donations roster). However, I'm not sure that the solution is either government NOR businesses. I think we should be working towards community self-governance -...

Great points. I know not mainstream, but I'd urge you to watch some videos of Noam Chomsky and/or Glenn Greenwald. Most of the people are either on the side of the State or Business. Those two guys are on neither - they see that both these sides are false and power-hungry.

Good points. But, as I've been saying in other videos, Ron Paul is very intelligent and learned and honest - but he thinks the free market is the solution for society's woes. I don't know about you but I don't trust the state - but I don't trust business to do what's right either. I favour the Cl...

I don't agree fully with your support for Ron Paul, but your point here about "party lemmings" is so true.
The same is happening now on the Democrat side. Many democrats see Obama as a undeclared Republican - but they are insistent that no-one criticises him like this in the election year.

Zack, Obama is likely to win the 2012 election because he has the most financial backers to his campaign and he is facing Republican candidates with slightly too extreme views. Obama has failed his promise about change big time (read/watch Glenn Greenwald, Noam Chomsky or Naomi Klein) but if it i...

I don't think the kitten was hurt. Surely, it would have been kicking and squirming if it was really discomforted. And, once put down, it would have run for its life. Whilst it does look uncomfortable for the kitten, I actually think the child was being firm but gentle.

This just goes to show how difficult it is to argue with someone with a strong conviction, no matter how immoral.
Frum reveals that he considers himself to be, effectively, a member of a superior race. How else can he talk so flippantly about US government leading the world without restraint?
