OSAMA BIN LADEN- to some you were a hero.
The war of the weak against the strong is an old one. The strong can afford traditions of warfare which prize decisive combat between military forces. They are genuinely shocked and horrified when their opponents find ways to shoot them in the back or massacre their loved ones. Yet the strong somehow do not see the great suffering they inflict, whether through violence or the kinds of mass slow death that capitalism specialises in for those enmeshed in its lower rungs.

As Victor Davis Hanson comments, "we in the West call the few casualties we suffer from terrorism and surprise 'cowardly', the frightful losses we inflict through open and direct assault 'fair'."

The nation-state can serve as a kind of large concentration camp, walling off from one another peoples with shared interests in resisting the West. Revolutionary leaders in places like Egypt, Cuba and Vietnam took state power amid a hostile world. They could be subject to sanctions, embargoes, and covert attack while they struggled with their own internecine conflicts, inflicted disastrous economic policies on their populations, and became corrupt.

Eventually they faced a choice between withering on the vine or re-entering the capitalist world order on unfavourable terms.

This was the stalemate between the local and the global that Bin Laden sought to bust open with his spectacular attacks on the US. With the greatest armed propaganda operation in world history he sought to generate a revolt that did not respect sovereign borders.
Westerners mocked Bin Laden's idea of the Caliphate as a seventh-century throwback. They did not appreciate what a creative response it was to the division of the world into nation-states, which could so easily be turned into clients of the West and partitioned off from one another. As an al-Qaeda website once noted with contempt, "A 'Karzai' regime exists officially in all the Muslim countries."
In essence, 9/11 was like a brilliant guerrilla raid that exhilarates young fighters and gives them the taste of a victory they can never achieve. Its immediate effect is to call forth legions of imperial storm troopers on missions of reprisal, missions that wreck the rebellion and inflict suffering on those it sought to liberate.
In the long arc of the decline of empires and great powers, the main consequence of 9/11 and the wars that followed is to hasten the decline of the US. Precious resources needed to regenerate the US have been spent on wars of reprisal as well as the fantastically corrupt arrangements for economic reconstruction in Iraq and Afghanistan. Having allowed business to feed so well at the public trough for a decade, US politicians now deny their own people desperately needed funds for healthcare, education, and modernisation.

freedom democracy is only a mirage based upon centuries of social and economic evolutions and revolutions, democracy and freedom itself is nothing its not a system nor its a belief. it was created in 1689 to silence freedom of thought people began to possess some degrees of freedom of thoughts under the influence of Renaissance. even after the signing of the Bill of Rights the peasant's live did not improve thats beacause the majority at the time are poor and uneducated, thus they are manipulated by the democracy. The happy faces of europeans or other developed country is not caused by democracy and freedom they are the result of 500 years long econmic, social and industrial revolution. democracy is just a puddle of urine that western nations excreted after they had drunk the mineral rich water of develpment, and now most freedom lovers are forcing others to drink this puddle of urine _______________________________
Is poverty, coruption, and human right abuse a product of dictatorship or is it a product of a social and economic evolution and reforms during a certain stage of development(of which democratic countries has already been through)?
_______________________________
One can never have freedom which is simply granted by governments. The enslavement of your thoughts began when you believe the "freedom" your government granted you. As long as the poeple are happy it makes no difference between a dictatorship or democracy, Foundamentally they are the same, one seals your mouth, the other clouds your judgment, and giving false sense of having freedom because you are granted with "freedom".

The China model should be followed by under-developed countries. espeacially in Africa, people needs to realize to ensure progress during the industrialization phase of a developing country the rights of the minority MUST be violated to ensure efficency and progress. in a way indian and many African countries has been tricked once again by their former imperialist masters. They profess Freedom and democracy is a god given right and no matter who whether a young professional living in New York or starving middle aged man in Somalia. the degree of lie and deceit is evident.

Western countries has already done what China is doing during their reletive phase of development the only difference is that China has un-elected bureaucracy, while the west at the time had an elected bureaucracy of the elites, before 1960s the lower class of USA was just as exploited. and now with all the western countries went through what China is going through, they ask under developed and developing countries to somehow by pass that critical stage. This is simply a new form of Imperialism of the west set to disrupt the potential of their former slaves.
the West know China is on the fast track to overtake them so they feel the need to demonize China yet using empty romantic idealisms like freedom and democracy to ensure Africa countries stay in the state of limbo and fake illusions created by neo-colonialism

China is most certain to set foot and hold economic sovereignty over USA...LOL!

Don't walk... Run! And read a history book, preferably one not banned by the CCP. The Japanese had most certainly set foot and had political sovereignty in China. Japan had supreme, independent authority over huge regions of China, and all the main population centers. The KMT lost almost 3 times more people fighting the Japanese then did the Communist. Sovereignty means just that. Supreme, independent authority over a region. China and the CCP are two completely different things. China is a continuous 5000+ year old politically and culturally diverse culture. The CCP is simply an authoritarian political party, mostly controlled by Han Chinese, and is merely 60 years old. The CCP is about as Chinese as Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture.
