Oakville Humane Society

The Oakville & Milton Humane Society is an independent, non-profit organization, dedicated to the welfare of all animals. We are funded by donations from the public and from corporate sponsors. The shelter, serving Oakville and Milton, was established in 1936.

We assist animals - domestic, wild, and exotic - which have been injured, abused, sick, abandoned, or in need of rescue, and in cases where it is warranted, we legally investigate and prosecute on the animals' behalf.

We assist in finding suitable homes for unclaimed stray animals and assist owners in finding their animals which have strayed or become lost.

We offer Humane Education Programs, and many resources to help strengthen the bond between humans and their animal companions.
