About Oak is Keeping
Oak is Keeping is the outcome of mixing heavy guttural guitars with astral harmonies and brash lyrical content, dealing with everything from love to the human condition. This mixture produces a rock and roll sound that has been compared to the likes of other Texas rock establishments like the Toadies, ...Trail of Dead, and The Sword. Oak is Keeping has been playing around Texas and surrounding states for over a year while writing and recording songs for their 2009 debut album, Animal Style - an album full of huge guitar harmonies, driving beats, haunting melodies and flowing bass lines.
