@zima04 It's true it follows the movie plot. I usually hate when movie versions of musicals differ from the original, but I think in this case it works perfectly for me. I guess it's because the plot of the movie is more lineal and it's more interesting to follow. Well, that's my opinion, at least.

@darthkazden I'd say he can't match the voice of ANY actor who has ever played the role. He may be a great actor, but I'll never understand why Andrew Lloyd Webber could cast such a bad singer to be the Phantom. He just screwed the whole movie.

wow... whoever in the band sings those backing vocals, is great. That chorus is horribly high, and it sounds awesome anyway.

this song may sound like a silly tune, like they were just fooling around... but it's so well done and full of details.

Patty is absolutely awesome doing Mrs Lovett in Sweeney Todd, but here she lacks the innocence of the character. Probably she fits much more in that kind of evilish roles.
