Q. What kind of flat iron do you use?
A. I have two models of the Chi Flat Iron — one is a light pink and the other is the Breast Cancer Awareness version courtesy of BeautyChoice. Though, I personally prefer Chi if you want flat iron recommendations.
Q. Will you be making more videos?
A. Yes — I will in fact be making more videos... though please be patient, as it takes time to film, edit and upload.
Q. Did you gain weight in your recent videos?
A. Yes — I did gain weight and I am glad you noticed. Prior to filming, in January or so I believe I was nearing 39 KG and less because I was completely stressed out in school and now I weigh about 48 KG or so. I think the difference is pretty dramatic consider how petite I am in real life.
Q. Why are your videos so grey and ghostly?
A. I have no idea, really — I suppose it is just the way my camera films and the way it picks up light. Though, as for the ghostly part... it is because I am pretty fair in person and I don't necessary film too well as my skin tends to reflect most light — making myself look even paler than I normally am.
Q. Where are all of your old videos?
A. Unfortunately — I deleted a while back ago and I do not own a copy of them... sorry. Though, I will be remaking them in better quality and posting them up one day at a time. I removed them because... I could not bear to see myself in a sickly phase and I don't necessary need a reminder. Please, stop pestering me about this subject matter and respect my decision to remove them... thank you very much.

Firstly, thank you to everyone who wished me back on YouTube. I know I have been MIA for an extended time, since last summer and this has been mainly due to my studies at uni — but now that I am finished my with final examinations. I will slowly start uploaded and filming new material for your pleasure.
Please pardon if my videos seem a little too washed out — I was previously using the Sony Webbie HD™ Camera (especially for my Public Speaking video) but I found that, while it shot beautiful footage outdoors during my fieldwork, it lacked the same performance indoors. Now, I'm in the mode of testing out my Cyber-shot® T900 Digital Camera that I received as an early birthday present from my mother (you can see this in my latest skin care video).
I am still in the process of trying to figure out this particular device — while it most definitely shoots a better footage. My main issue is with the lighting — if I get too close to the camera I am without a doubt washed out but my voice can be heard better or if I sit too afar then the lighting is toned down and my voice is very soft (even more so that I already am). Though, I am trying to find a medium between this two — but it is rather difficult seeing that my camera seems to zoom in on the palest object in the frame. Maybe, to resolve this issue I should not wear as much black? This would be very difficult since most of my clothes are dark and wearing white would make me look a bit tan. Perhaps, I should get a tan?
Prior to attending uni, I did have a nice beige tan from holidaying — but since I have been stowed away indoors my skin has turned very a very alabaster shade.
O — well, I'm not going to fret over this situation for much longer — I'm sure in the the future a resolution will emerge. Until then, I will just continue filming with each video and hopefully the problem will be fixed.

Q. What is your ethnicity?
A. I am of mixed European & Asian descent — other than that, I am not going to say the exact mixture of my heritage because I feel it is an invasion of privacy. Please understand that this particular question occurs frequently in conversations and through the course of time it has become a nuisance to answer because of human's natural curiosity.
One day, I may reveal this secret but until then it is a private topic that will be closed to only my family and and close friends. I know that this sounds very selfish and seclusive but this subject is very sensitive — mainly because, as a child, I have dealt with unmatched and racist comments that has arose from people's natural distaste in the union of my parents differences. I suppose, now — the context is different but there is still negative drawbacks that influence my decision to share this information to the world.
Q. What does 麗 mean?
A. It is the kanji of my first name — it means lovely, companion — depending on what definition you would prefer to use. I know that many people have considered this as my family name — but I have a Germanic last name.
Q. Why do you have a strange accent?
A. Personally, I never noticed my accent until my recent videos. I suppose — when I speak calmly and enunciate my words it sounds a bit distorted — I guess this comes from my very diverse childhood and all of the different dialects I was exposed to as a child. I grew up learning British English (due to my mother consistent bickering of a proper education) and now that I immerse myself in American culture, that blend seems to seep though and hence, the strange accent.
For the most part, I try to keep a neutral accent — though, when I spend a fair amount of time in a particular country. The accent imbeds itself to my speech and it tends to fluctuate from time to time.
