Welcome to my channel, my name is Fred and im a train enthusiast from South Essex.

I regularly venture out to many parts of the UK as much as possible. Im pretty much based in London and East Anglia, I lke to visit a few locations a bit further away from my patch! Influenced into the railways by my family when i was about 5 but started to take it more seriously in 2006 where i was filming 86s, 90s, 66s, 357s at my local station. My first camcorda arrived 2 years later, where i started to venture out into the open world.

The equipment i use is a Sony DCR-HC62E Mini DV Camcorder, despite its a tape it still does the job. For my photos i use a Fuji Film Finepix S1500.

I will mainly go out for charters, heritage galas, loco movements, test trains and sometimes the odd Kettle. Loads of my trips are planned at the last minute! Major trips are planned months in advance.
