We are a band. 4 members in all. We play songs. We create songs. We draw influences from all across the board. Rock, Metal, Soul, Jazz, Alternative, Ballads, Progressive, Pop, Contemporary, Symphony, etc... So, you can say that we've a Fusion-type of concept, but actually, all we're playing is just rock. Pop-rock, punk-rock, alternative, metal or grunge. Whatever u name it, to us, it's still ROCK.
The line-up is as follows:
Raffi Rahmat (Raffi) : Frontman, Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Keyboardist, Songwriter, Arranger, Producer
Asfihani Kamarudin (Asfi K.) : Bassist, Backup Vocals, Sound Engineer, Soundmixer, Producer
Fadhlunazim (Lun) : Drummer
Sazaly Rahmat (Saz) :Lead Guitar
Thru the years, we've played under void decks,jammed at studios, beneath wedding tents, at hotels, clubs and such. Thru many name changes, we've finally decided to call ourselves "NV". Why "NV"? Why not "Jealousy"? I (bassist, Asfi) don't really know, but my take on it is that it sounds way much better (and not to mention, cooler) than "Jealousy".
Also, maybe it's got to do with the fact that we've been playing around for more than 7 (yes, SEVEN) years. Maybe yeah, we are NVious of all those other bands and artists who just rode a rocket and just shot right up the stairway to fame. We've recorded, mixed and mastered our songs(courtesy of Nuradee Bros.), and now that our 1st album is over and done with, we're coming up with our 2nd album with 10 (yes, TEN!!) songs!
This is for all those who've been supporting us throughout the years that we've struggled. Thru the blood and tears, sweat and effort of all involved, we stand here now. We (Raffi, Asfi, Lun & Saz) thank you, with all of our hearts.
