Usually fish the Kenai (upper & lower) and the Kasilof.

Kings were slow- got one (about 28#) & wife got one (30#) on the Kasilof. None on the Kenai.

Several reds on the Kenai around Soldotna.

Caught some silvers, but they were on a charter out of Whittier.

I have used these same bullets with complete pass throughs every time. Shot a 140# boar thru the shoulder and spine- DEVASTATING wound channel. I continue to use these because of the results I get.

Just a suggestion- to keep the net bag from extending into the water when trying to net the fish, grab the very bottom of the net with one finger then slide your hand up the handle until no part of the net is hanging. As soon as the fish is netted, release your finger and let the net drop down....

If you add alittle moisture to the mix going in it helps to both keep down the amount of dust and it makes a more uniform, larger size pellet i.e. less waste / rerun.

As armstronggetto also said above, the mill has not had time to reach optimal temp yet so there will be more dust ...

Your the 'dumb ass'. Don't comment on something unless you know what you are talking about. That is a spoonbill or paddlefish. They are not rare here in Missouri. We have a 45 day fishing season for them where we can keep two per day (if of the correct length).

My Vizslas (all three of them) love the water! In the summer I literally have to swim after and catch them to get them out of the water. I have to be careful with my male because he likes to go out on the ice, break it, then tries to crawl UNDER the ice. He thinks it is one big game!

you apparently have never owned a Vizsla. These dogs do not possess a mean bone in their body- not to say they can not be made mean by harsh treatment. As several other have stated- I felt more comfortable leaving my kids with my Vizsla than I would with most adults.

Even I know that hand gaffing a halibut that big is not a good idea! You either spear gaff or shoot one that big.

Because your sound has been disabled I don't know the answer to this: What kind of fish are those first ones (I recognise the cod, yelloweye, and halibut)?

Besides the halibut itself possibly causing havoc, someone needed to get ahold of that weight swinging around. Don't know exactly, but the weights I used for Alaska halibut fishing were in the 2 to 5# range. Something that size can inflict a hurt real quick.

The reason there are so many is you filmed just outside (less than 2 miles to the west) from Squaw Creek Wildlife Refuge. It is a MAJOR resting area for geese heading both North & South each year.
