Nunny TV, a community media project based on Grimsby's Nunsthorpe estate, began in 2007. With Neighbourhood Renewal funding, we worked out of Nunsthorpe Library, providing media equipment, free training, and encouraging people to make films of interest. Many of which can be seen here.
The project ceased in 2011, but not before we had been recognised locally, regionally and nationally for the work we had done. Over 1000 people were involved in community media projects, work placements arranged through school and colleges and constantly received positive feedback about the transferable skills and incidental learning our volunteers achieved.
With a background in community television and corporate media production the Nunny TV team established a commercial side, investing any money raised back into community projects.
If you want to commission any work, or want further information about any of the films shown here, contact the Nunny TV team through their website.
