i'm not 38 as it says here,i'm 59 but it won't let me change it. i'm from the north east of england and proud of it. this is god's country and we're the best people in the world. ok,i'm biased cos i live here,but i still mean it. nowhere else in england has people that say hello to strangers,not like the southerners. they look at you as though you are mad if you say 'hi' to them. cold self-centred arrogant heartless bastards..thank god i'm from the north east. this is where the REAL people live.

this laptop takes a lot of my time up.. i DO have friends,but i'm particular about them. they have to be up-front, have no falseness about them, show no ignorance or lack of basic human kindness. in other words be a DECENT person! (but a little bit of INDECENCY can be great if you're the right woman! ha!) a good sense of humour is a MUST! there are too many people that have their heads up their arses and not enough genuine ones.i'm easy to get along with and my soh is great.i just don't tolerate fools in any shape or form. when it comes to interests i have to admit that this laptop seems to take up most of my time.i love chess but haven't played since i got this 16 months ago. i haven't read a book since then either! if i had known how terrific these pc's are...well i'd have got one years ago. the best thing about them is that no matter who or what you are there is something for you on the internet. no matter how diverse your tastes you will find it listed somewhere. people also fascinate me. no two people are exactly alike,we all differ in so many ways and that is why we humans are so bloody interesting! i used to like crosswords but that's taken a back seat too. (oh laptop...you have a lot to answer for!).

midnight cowboy.the godfather trilogy,casino,will hays,laurel and hardy,bilko,monty python,chewin' the fat,father ted,i love most of the old bbc comedies. i like wildlife progs and any interesting documentaries. hell what a boring bastard i sound! but believe me i'm not.

eagles,beatles,sinatra,matt monroe,kate bush,eurythmics,stones,kinks,madonna,jim croce,jose feliciano,polly brown(ex picketywitch),suzi quatro,hollies,the move.the cowsills(especially susan cowsill...great voice),glen campbell,sammy davis jnr,bread,mamas and papas,jimmy nail,gerry munroe.david bowie,ray coniff,i don't have much time for most of the new stuff.the groups today are talentless and they all look and sound the same.
Books:
all dickens,i read them over and over again.i've tried all the classics,but no one can beat dickens,so i read only his books.his characters can have me laughing out loud,no other author can do that. but even dickens isn't perfect.his fault was the romantic sides of his novels could swamp the larger-than-life characters who would have to take a backward step. but all in all dickens is the true master.
