The nuggets are my favorite basketball team and it will remain like that. Hopefully they can become a more well respected franchiseand bring the city of denver a NBA championship. We've had all of our teams be in the finals of their sport rookies in 07 i beleive broncos back in the 90's and the avalanche back in 02 or somthing. Hopefully the nuggets can bring home an honor that other denver teams have.

Wen the nuggets were a championship caliber team it was back in the 80's and in the year of 09. On both ocasions the lakers stepped right in front of them to stop them and the lakers are my second favorite team still. They have had sooo many good players Kobe Magic Karem Wilt James Worthy etc. Even if your a celtics fan u have t respect their franchise.

The nuggets have traded away our 2 stars chauncey and melo its time to rebuild im really gonna miss the days like when we went to the WCF with them i wish them the best of luck in ny (mainly for chauncey tho)

My favorite nuggets teamsthroughout franchise history was a tie between the 07-08 nuggets and the 08-09 nuggets
The 07-08 nuggets included allen iverson and carmelo anthony we also had marcus camby who back then was my idol that was seriously one of the best offencive teams i have ever seen they scored 168 points in a regulation game which means no overtimes that adds up to 42 points each quater thats absolutly amazing also allen iverson brought hope to the city they were knocked out in the first round by the lakers but the nuggets knew wd be back next yearas they did.The next season (08-09) started off with a bang of us tradeing marcus camby i hated aboslutly hated this trade because we traded him for the clippers for 2nd round picks and he had gotten defencive player of the year the year before that.(quick note seeing marcus camby hold that defencive player of the year trophy above his head felt like the nuggets were winning the championship in my mind)a few games into the regular season the bang we started off with got even bigger when we traded allen iverson for chauncey billups now alot of nuggets fans didnt know what to think of this they thought wow chauncey is coming back to denver thats cool but is he worth iverson? well id say yesx10 actually before chauncey was here the nuggets had a good team they just couldnt seem to ever break a stride untill chauncey came.Chauncey ended up being the best leader in nuggets history that year for good reason which ill get too. there were alot of doubters with this trade saying oh denver is going to make the playoffs this year their gonna suck btu chauncey and the star studded nuggets proved them wrong chauncey led denver to a 54 winning season and the second seed in the west the nuggets were still sort of set as the underdog in the playoffs but they got rid of that crown fast and for good reason they took down a hornets team in 5 games a dallas team in 5 games and eventually lost in the western confrence finals in 6 games to the LA lakers this was the largest playoff push the nuggets have ever went for (discluding the ABA days)chauncey set history and put denver on the map as a basketball town and us denver natives will never forget thaat :)
