Initially formed by Laura and Glenn Pinfield several years ago, Nuclear Umbrella was "re-awakened" in late 2006 as a result of a Melbourne Drum Tribe gig where Laura showed up with her violin to join us for a few improvs.
Each of the members has a long history of playing eclectic music locally. Laura plays violin with the Brevard Symphony Orchestra. Anthony plays with the jam-band Local 518, and along with David and Glenn, forms part of the core of the Melbourne Drum Tribe. During the '90s, Glenn and Laura played with the band Lifeblood.
