Where I go in Denville sometimes NS GP 3010 will sit on the Booton line.Morristown and Erie also runs there as a local and holiday trains.

Well, from what I can tell, it usually comes back to Denville at around 2:20, although it can be later. It tends to come back from Colgate about 90 minutes later, sometimes longer. I know that usually if I see H-02 heading towards Colgate at say, 3:00, it often won't come back until at least 4:30. I hope that helps.

Yeah, I've been trying to get as much railfanning done as I can before I have to go back to college, when I'll have alot less free time. As far as the Chester Branch goes, I've noticed that it seems to get some activity on most Friday mornings.
