Johnny Adams passed away in Baton Rouge 12 years ago today (9/14/98). He had stomach cancer. I put his obituary up by the jukebox the next night in the bar where I worked, but only a few locals even knew who he was.
He's very hard to find on vinyl, as his stuff was never pressed in large quanti...
