About this user

My name is Doug DeSalvo DC. As a chiropractor I do my very best to care for patients who have acute and chronic pain, those who need rehabilitation from injuries and stress management. I use a variety of different techniques consisting of gentle adjustments and adjustments with instruments to help patients that have an aversion to a "clicking" sound. My approach also includes a unique neuromuscular re-education approach called the Myokinesthetic System which is geared toward correcting or stabilizing dysfunctional muscle patterns. I have been in practice for 22 years and have treated over 8000 patients. I live and work in beautiful Novato, CA. I have been married for 21 years and have 2 wonderful daughters ages 17 and 14. Our oldest unfortunately, had a tragic injury where she fractured her neck and is now paralyzed. I understand pain, emotional pain and what it takes to care for a disabled individual.
