Raised in Rogers, Arkansas, Geof has had a lifelong love for photography. After graduating from the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas in 1997, he found himself on a journey through three states: Arkansas, North Carolina, Arizona, and now back again to North Carolina.

Following an evolution of interests from commercial production to station promotion, he found television news photojournalism and real storytelling were where his heart truly lied. While working in the promotion department at WCTI in New Bern, North Carolina, Geof was offered the position of Chief Photographer in July, 2003. Since then, he has found inspiration in both the ordinary and the extraordinary that daily television news photojournalism has to offer.

Geof has come a long way from the days of wandering the streets of his hometown of Rogers with a VHS camcorder. Today, with a voracious heart for telling good stories about real people, Geof is constantly looking for new ways to become a better photojournalist.

Geof has been recognized for his work by the National Press Photographers Association, The North Carolina and Arizona Associated Press, The Radio Television News Director's Association, and The Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
