Hey gene.. definitely a more convincing argument to use the gcs-1s.. I think you will be forever searching for the right combination to dial in to make a "perfect sample" this is a little too bassy over the net. but easily noticeable huge improvement over stock pups

both have the sx and MIM have the aweful dog whistle pitch.. pickups shouldnt ever sound that way in any guitar unless you turn up the treble and gain.. buy some giovannis gcs1s and balance it out.. only a few buck more that the gfs
