I live in Southern California...I got him from a police breeding/training facility here locally as I am good friends with the owner. When she found out my 1st german shepherd died of cancer...She telephoned me and told me she had a present for me.

Thanks for the words of comfort. Tiva wasn't a German Shepherd (she was a Border Collie x Lab) but I did rescue her from a GSD Rescue out in the States. I intended to rescue a shepherd at the time but she ended up stealing my heart. Whereabouts did you get Champ? Is he up on the Pedigree Database?

Thanks for commenting on my post... Champ is beautiful, plays just like my Strauss! They're lovely but can be such little rascals sometimes can't they! :) At 7 months, mine is currently going through the 'flight instinct period', where he feels he doesn't need to listen and appears to have completely forgotten all the training that has been taught to him, haha.
