About Me:

I am an atheist with schizoaffective disorder,who is properly medicated. I feel that not believing in invisible entities running around behind an unseen curtain is an integral part in staying out of the hospital mental ward ,keeping that delusional door shut is important to me. i don't see how people can't see how dangerous it is to have a society of predominately religious people who believe in demons,angels,gods and devils .i've experienced through my illness what its like to "imagine/hallucinate"that people are somehow affected by "demons" and "angels". i think there is a direct link between the psychological indoctrination of people ,mainly children and mental illness childhood onset through adult onset. if a mind is primed to believe in "gods,devils,demons and angels" that mind is capable of being threatened by the idea that those entities are real thereby living in a state of continual fear that has the ability to evolve into various mental disorders,not to mention that religions are basically cults that have found a way to successfully weave themselves into the fabric of this society and the idea of these "beings" is an open window to delusion and superstition.Addendum: this in no way is intented to promulgate the idea that religion is the ONLY means in which a person can or will develop a mental illness, merely to bring awareness to the amount of damage that holding on to said delusional belief systems can cause to minds young and old ,especially if there is a obsessive amount of religiosity held by the individual .....hope this clears up any misunderstandings : )
