It has been discovered that your mosquito nets are constructed of a toxic insecticide Deltamethrin which is a Pyrethroid compound.

Human side-effects of this harmful neurotoxin: Headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, asthma, excessive salivation, runny nose, fatigue, irritability to sound (or) touch, abnormal facial sensation, sensation of prickling, tingling (or) creeping on skin, numbness.

Your response on these findings is strongly encouraged.

Right now, there are just way too many people on the planet. We need to cut the worlds population from the current five billion to no more than 250 million to 350 million.

- Ted Turner

I find it difficult to reconcile Ted Turner's depopulation agenda with efforts to battle malaria in Africa. I challenge the public to become further acquainted with Turner's views regarding this topic and decide for themselves.

"A total world population of 250-300 million people, a 95% decline from present levels, would be ideal." a quote by Ted Turner circa 1996.

Nothing But Nets was founded by Ted Turner's United Nations Foundation. Turner is also firmly invested in programs that reduce human population. This is well documented. Are we to believe that Ted Turner is remarkably concerned with preserving humanity in the poorest regions of Africa as well. On the surface these strategic positions appear to work in opposition.

It is widely accepted that one of the negative side-effects of pesticide exposure is birth defects, and cancer. This is why it is reasonable to question the safety of your nets and the long term motives of Ted Turner and the UNF. African has been the staging ground for large scale human experimentation for nearly a century and often under the guise of humanitarian aid. These issues deserve thorough investigation.

Many thanks for the scripted response. My concern with NothingButNets citing World Health Organization(WHO) safety data, is the fact that this agency operates under the direction of the United Nations. A conflict of interest clearly exists in this case and your studies require impartial oversight/research to accurately demonstrate safety. Would NBN be willing to provide the public with the WHO studies that prove conclusively that these nets are not-toxic.

It is a medically recognized fact that human skin is an organ and will absorb substances that come in contact with it. If NBN has successfully designed a non-toxic chemical pesticide, I can assure you the scientific community would be interested in knowing more about this product. At present pesticides are harmful to all living things. Are you asking us to suspend our current understanding of these chemicals?

The insecticide that is woven into the nets is approved by WHO and is non-toxic to humans.

For several years, the UN Foundation, which was founded by Ted Turner, has been working with UN agencies and other anti-malaria groups, beneath the Roll Back Malaria umbrella, to foster partnerships that raise awareness about and support for malaria prevention. In 2006, the UN Foundation created its grassroots campaign, Nothing But Nets, with a diverse group of partners, to provide an easy way for concerned individuals to join the global fight to combat malaria. To date Nothing But Nets has distributed more than 2 million nets to children and families in Africa.

I am told these nets are saturated with enough chemical pesticides to last 5 years. Does anyone at NBN have any reservations about this???
logtype47 (8 months ago)
Perhaps I am confused. This charity, NothingButNets has partnered with Ted Turner's United Nations Foundation. Ted Turner has expressed quite openly that he is working tirelessly to control/reduce population. In 2008 he commented on Charlie Rose "We have too many people using too much stuff". Why then does Turner contribute vast resources to preserve the lives of people in the poorest nations on earth.

His agenda requires further examination.
