About David Brooke's Short Films
David Brooke has been writing and directing his own films for 3 years now and has been writing scripts for another 7. He grew up reading comic books and was always interested in composition which manifested itself in his photography. After a brief foray in photography, David realized the best place to incorporate his storytelling abilities was in film. David graduated from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a degree in English Drama Film and Media Studies in 2006.
These shorts come from a place of quirky fun, a place where you might just learn something, but it'll take some thinking and some originality to get there.
