He was born in 1892 and started teaching golf in 1910. He was head professional at the prestigious Los Angeles Country Club from 1921-1946 - He was host professional at the 1st Los Angeles Open. He walked with golfing greats like Harry Vardon, Alex Findlay, Walter Travis, Bobby Jones, Sir Henry Cotton, Walter Hagen, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead and many others. He developed a golf swing that is 2nd to none, easily learned with discipline and enjoyable to use as it makes playing this great game of golf so much fun.
