I think the equator
is based on the axis of rotation
not magnetic north
but that is a good point
that the equator must be moving
as must the latitude lines
if the axis actually has shifted
relative to the earth's surface.

I thought this was an awesome peek into Japan.
Obviously it isn't that normal to make altars to cartoons and dance in front of them or the other kids wouldn't have been chortling about it.
