CBBC - Fluff in the broom cupboard
Legendary DJ Alan "Fluff" Freeman stops by the broom cupboard to talk to Toby about 30 years of Top of the Pops. (1994)
Embarrassing to cock up the back-timing on the music in front of a pro such as Fluff!

Phillip Schofield, Andy Crane and Gordon the Gopher, 1987
After Newsround, Jonny Briggs trailer, continuity with Schofield, Crane and Gopher. Followed by Sea View.
@doubledeckers 1987 would be when Andy Crane took over on a permanent basis (when Phillip Schofield went to Going Live), but he'd been deputising for Schofe for some time before that.

This was presumably the spare continuity suite NC3/Sub Control, which is smaller than the main NC1. It was here that the "broomcupboard" name was originally coined to refer to.

Thames Handover to LWT - Jan 1982
The first 5:15 handover between Thames and LWT in 1982
@cwilliams1976 sync pulses had nothing to do with this one, ITN would have adjusted their SPG to match C4 pres in the same way that any incoming source to the BBC did. It was only ITV that needed to resync before each network prog, having so many disparate playout centres. The time changed pure...
