About The Official Under The Umbrella Tree Channel!
Under the Umbrella Tree is a popular children's television show that Noreen Young created, produced and starred on as the puppet character, Gloria Gopher. The show aired from 1987 to 1996 and was broadcast by The Disney Channel, CBC, YTV, and Canal Famille.
The show uses humour to teach children lessons about life. It stars Holly Larocque as Holly Higgins, and three puppets with no apparent relation to Holly (Gloria the Gopher, Iggy the Iguana, and Jacob Blue Jay). These delightful characters help kids to enjoy the process of learning about themselves and the world.
Under the Umbrella Tree consist of 210 episodes: 200 are 15 minutes long; the other 10 are 30-minute specials.
Under the Umbrella Tree is now available on DVD exclusively through Noreen Young Productions.
