About Nightowl Pictures

Nightowl Pictures is an independent film and video production studio located in Charlotte, NC and run by Nathan Bezner (me!). It's a film collective made up of people I know, respect, like, and enjoy working with. Although not a traditional film production studio in the sense of the phrase, we highly enjoy the work we do together and have a great love for the craft. Here you will find some of our work, and we hope you enjoy it!

About this user

Nathan Bezner was born in Sarasota, FL to Belinda Rosanne Corbus and Kevin Francis Bezner. His love of film came from his mother, a woman who took him to Amadeus when he was three years old and showed him The Haunting when he was six.

Nathan shot his first 16mm short when he was 16, and attended his first film festival the same year. He went to college at Pratt Institute of Art to study film. He went on to work on a number of short and feature length independent projects for various people ranging all over the world, from Charlotte to Japan.

Nathan currently works as a freelance post-production specialist in Charlotte, NC and has a 9-5 gig as a motion graphics designer at Wells Fargo's Creative Services.
