@WeCanFlyHigh Allmusic.com was very correct in saying that the demo version from the "My Lives" box set was better than the finished product. The demo is looser and flows more freely. This one is way too tightly structured. It's also cool to hear Billy yelling stuff at his band for the demo.

This version totally blows the studio one away. I like how Paul doesn't "rush" through the chorus the way he does on the original. Now why isn't this on iTunes?

I think Brian, Mike, Al, Bruce and David Marks should do a very limited reunion engagement (5 shows maybe) with the best of their backing bands, and then go back to doing their own things. Brian and Al are far better off with their current gigs than with the Beach Boys in name only band.
