About Jesus Christ ~IS~ the Savior of THE WORLD
This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation. For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe. These things command and teach. (1Ti 4:9-11)

About this user
Not really that much to say about myself. I live a pretty normal, often-times boring, life.I get up during the week and go to work and on most weekends (during the appropriate season) I cut the grass and beat the kid and the dog (OK, I don't REALLY beat the dog). LOL
I was raised to believe in God and Jesus Christ, as the Son of God, but I never really felt like I had a relationship with either God or Christ. I certainly couldn't prove that God exists. Nor could I prove that Jesus Christ is who the Bible and other Christians claims He is. So for a very long time I gave up on even trying to figure it out. I just accepted that whatever will be will be and didn't give it much more thought than that.
Then things started happening in my life that made me begin to start considering re-investigating this whole "God thing" and I did to a certain degree, but it wasn't like it was this huge priority in my life, at first.
But within several months (I'd say less than a year) the desire to know God became so uncontrollably powerful in my life that I really began to search the Bible and to seek Him out. I began to rent movies and watch various televangelist programs. I got particularly caught up in all the "end times" stuff.
Then, one day during an internet search for something else, up popped an ad for an article entitled: "Tithing is Unscriptural Under the New Covenant" which led me to a website that teaches the salvation of all men, where I learned that there is a difference between sheol/hades, Gehenna and Tartarus, where I was introduced to the concept of using a Concordance for the first time ever in my studies and I spent months just studying and reading.
For the first time in my life I felt like I knew God, that I could feel God, and like my hunger and my thirst for the Truth were finally being satisfied... a feeling that accompanies experiences for which there are no adequate words to describe.
For the first time I knew and truly understood what "the revelation of Jesus Christ" is and how awe-inspiring and powerful it can be.
It has been revealed to me through all of this that Jesus Christ is the Savior OF THE WORLD.
While I have, over time, come to see some things very differently from when I first started on this journey and I have encountered a wide variety of beliefs among those who would be considered Universalists, nothing at all has ever shaken my faith and my trust in the ability and power of our Lord to seek and to save that which is lost, even to the very last.
All things begin and end in Him. Praise His glorious name!!
