Formed in beggining of 2006 by fred and pit, No Escape was form only of one guitarist and one drummer. The band started to look for a bass player and a singer. To complete the instruments setting, No Escape found a female bass player who can give more energy on the scene than any boy. The instrumental setting completed, the band found the missing piece of the puzzle, the singer. Jay entered the band finally with a voice that will support every single beat with some powerful screams, rough vocals and melodic voices. The band then started to compose some songs. The music they create is influenced by some bands like: Metallica, Slipknot, Bullet for my Valentine and many others. They have some influences like everybody, but NE wants to produce their own kind of music . Now in the underground scene with many contacts, NE started to do shows. They know that fans aren't stupid. Fans know the real deal when they see it on show, and in the case of NE, they seem to have their large fans circle because those who saw them live have told 2 friends, who told 2 friends, and so on.
It is music for both sides of your brain. In your left ear, emotional and melodic singing of Jay, accompanied with some destructive screams. In your right ear, there is some importunate riffs and heavy injected bass patterns. . The Lyrics give the evidence of tortured soul with which words are livened up with the talent of Pit who give us a key of violence with complex and violent drum beats.
They did not only impressed criticisms by them arrived in force in the underground stage but by their irreprochable prestation on stage. No Escape is known for their stellar musical talent, the tightness of the margin of error apparently contained by the band live, Their masterly prestations and their skills to raise the crowd.
The Band recorded a 3 songs demo in June 3rd 2007, in at Champoux's studio in Quebec. They are recognize by this demo and they were invited to the transition tour with the production company transition. They took place in the compilation "Transition Invasion Tour". Several shows followed and the band started the composition of their first album!!
As for writing the album, the process was much more "Heart Composing" than anything the band's ever worked on. There's no format, no formula. No Escape are not concerned with making a "hit" or following any "rules", they just create songs that kick your balls off and the band love to play them live. They want to create songs that they will love. They want to play songs that hit kids in the chest. This bring the band into studio for january 2nd. NE will give you the best they can for sure!!
