Another one of my favorite pieces composed by ACE+. This one here is a bit different from the other pieces I've covered so far because here I've played several guitar tracks, so it took a bit more time to record this. It's tuned down a whole step because I usually play guitar in my band with the D-Tuning.
I think I'll record another Xenoblade piece just because the OST is so awesome^^

..."Pirate Thrash Metal"!? Well, this one is extremely difficult because it's like playing at high speed all the time. It's very sloppy. To be honest, I think this solo has been sped up in the studio. The sweeps at the beginning are extremely fast, but they sound very clean in the original. The rest is also something only insane guitarists can play without sounding very sloppy...

I really like this one (although the Xenoblade Soundtrack has got lots of other awesome tracks) because every time you can hear it in this game, you know something awesome is going to happen, well at least I do.

(Btw, I just finished this game (100%, playing time ~215 hours) and I have to say that I don't like the feeling after you have cleared a game, especially if it was awesome...)

This game is very old (1998/99 maybe?). I played this game when I was very young (and didn't care about continuespamming). Now after playing some "bullet hell shooters" it's a bit weird to have a hitbox that covers the whole ship.
Anyway, I've only got the demo version that has got 2 ships to choose from and the stage shown here. I've chosen the 2nd ship because of its bomb that deletes all bullets on the screen (which is a bit illogical because you just shoot a bunch of rockets as long as you hold the key). The downside is its weak standard shot. I wonder whether it's possible to clear the first stage on Maniac difficulty using the other ship. I'd like to see a video of that. Actually I think this game is supposed to be played with 2 ships (you can control them as a single player if you change the controls) because even easy seems to be a bit difficult for new players.
You can download it here: http://www.imagin...
I can't record in-game sound, so I replaced it with some music: Blast Corps - The Moon Blast Corps - Angel City Composed by Graeme Norgate

One of my favorite pieces of this game (damn, the whole game has got many awesome pieces). Some might be surprised that I played this game because it is pretty easy and aimed at a younger audience but I still had lots of fun playing it because of all the details, the effort and the "love" the developers put into this game. So, get it if you want to relax a bit and enjoy the beautiful levels.
It was a bit weird and tricky to "convert" a piano piece into a guitar piece with fingerpicking, and I'm also a bit inexperienced with it and I think you can hear that.
Composed by: Tomoya Tomita
I made a tab for this piece, if you want me to upload it, write a comment.

Anyways, Melee is quite the classic indeed, can't recall playing any other console game for almost 400 hours

As for eXceed3rdJPBP, there is a free trial version somewhere. On the game's official site at least.
