Many people desire to know the TRUTH but what they fail to recognise is that TRUTH hurts! I have seen people who want to be "nice" and not harm anyone by infiltrating religion together so that everyone feels comfortable! But hey! whether you accept the truth or not, the TRUTH remains the same. And all those who really want to be nice MUST first speak against God, then critise Jesus, then question the foundation of the Bible, putting all their 'faith' in historians. What they forget about is that historians/evolutionist/whoever can also make a mistake! I am tired of people who speak without fact, clearly displaying ignorance. All they tell you day after day is that history says so, mythology says so and on and on...
Christianity above everything else must be a relationship. You need to have a conviction that Jesus is Lord. Otherwise, you will constantly fight with your spirit when people claim Jesus is Lord. He is whether you like it or not. Wheher you feel happy about it or not. And to those who question the Bible, read:
. Is the Bible Inspired by God?
"Where do we find God's word except in the Scriptures?"

Is the Bible the Word of God?

1) By providing evidences from scientific observations we have shown God's existence. 2) By showing the textual and historical reliability we have proved the accounts in the Bible are genuine and can be trusted. And 3) by analyzing Jesus' life, His miracles, the fulfillment of Messianic prophecies and, most of all, the historical truth of the resurrection, we have logically concluded that Jesus indeed is the divine Son of God.
The dramatic importance of these conclusions makes it only prudent to take an additional step of verification. Christianity not only claims the Bible is grounded in history, it also claims it is the actual Word of God. That is, the Bible is God's revelation to man. It contains His instructions to us, written in a manner understandable to men and women alike. And because we have failed (and will continue to fail) to perfectly obey His commands, He has also revealed His plan to save us from His just wrath through the sacrifice and blood of His Son, Jesus Christ.
The Bible is clear about its claims to divine inspiration. Hear the testimony of both Old Testament and New Testament writers:
Moses: "And God said to Moses, 'I AM THAT I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: I AM has sent me to you'" (Exodus 3:14).
Joshua: "After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord, the Lord said to Joshua son of Nun, Moses' aide: ..." (Joshua 1:1).
The prophet Samuel: "And the Lord said to Samuel, 'See, I am to do something in Israel that will make the ears of everyone who hears of it tingle" (1 Samuel 3:11).
King David: "The Spirit of the Lord spoke through me; His word was on my tongue" (2 Samuel 23:2).
The prophet Isaiah: "The Lord Almighty has revealed this in my hearing: 'Till your dying day this sin will not be atoned for,' says the Lord, the Lord Almighty" (Isaiah 22:14).
The prophet Jeremiah: "This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord: 'This is what the Lord, the God of Israel , says: Write in a book all the words I have spoken to you'" (Jeremiah 30:1-2).
The apostle Peter: "In those days Peter stood up among the believers (a group numbering about a hundred and twenty) and said, 'Brothers, the Scripture had to be fulfilled which the Holy Spirit spoke long ago through the mouth of David concerning Judas, who served as guide for those who arrested Jesus'" (Acts 1:15-16).
The apostle Paul: "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work" (2 Timothy 3:16).
The apostle John: "'I am the Alpha and the Omega,' says the Lord God, 'who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty'" (Revelation 1:8).
So the Bible is boldly and unambiguous when it claims to be the Word of God. Impressive, true, but is there external evidence for this?
How Does One Prove Divine Inspiration?
It is one thing to claim divine inspiration and quite another matter to prove it. After all, this is a rather outrageous claim. Obviously it will be insufficient to say that merely because the Bible is historically reliable and claims to be the Word of God; it therefore is the Word of God. No, we need more solid and objective evidences. After all, there are other books, such as the Qur'an and the Book of Mormon that claim to be the Word of God, and yet they contradict and even discredit the Bible. God cannot contradict Himself, and His Word cannot contradict itself. Therefore only one of these books can -- at best -- be the Word of God. Convincing and compelling evidence that the Bible is God's Word will also implicitly demonstrate that other "holy books" cannot be God's Word.
Fortunately, the Lord has given multiple confirmations on his word. Read the Bible.
