About Me:

I'm 24 years old. I live in Chicago, IL. I majored in vocal performance in high school and have held those values and techniques with me for 10 years now. I have a large number of interests & hobbies but always found that singing held a special place in my heart. I'm inspired by a number artists including (but not limited to): Adele, Christina Perri, Lily Allen, Ingrid Michaelson, Karmin, Regina Spektor, Panic at the Disco, A Fine Frenzy. I listen to & am comfortable singing with almost every type of music. I prefer listening to music from the 50s & 60s since that's what frequently played in my father's car during my childhood.
I'm currently working with a friend of mine on music possibilities in the future. For now, I just sing along to karaoke tracks - mostly because I just want to get my voice out there.
While I believe in freedom of speech & constructive criticism, I will not tolerate/respond to mean spirited remarks. After years of arguing with people, I've finally learned that it's not worth it.
I'm not religious. At all. I was brought up Catholic but I don't attend church.
I was adopted & am the only child. My dad was Polish & my mother is German. My dad passed away when I was 19 years old of leukemia. He fought a long, hard battle against it for more than 11 years.
I'm very abrasive & opinionated & have often hurt peoples feelings, which is why I choose not to argue with most people these days.
