Whats up My name is Mick Palmesano and I am a tattoo artist in the greater Boston area. Presently, I am working at Kaleidoscope Tattoo which is located at 2374 Mass Ave. Cambridge, MA. My work can be viewed on my website as well as my contact info: mavericktattoo.com. I have a cumulative 8-years experience in this interesting trade. My preferable styles are bio-mechanical, Japanese & explosive color / bold-line new school. I love to customize designs for clients but also take pride in doing the most basic of designs as I feel tattooing is a privilege as much as it is an occupation.
Ive also been known to play the drums; had a rigorous education in Hollywood in my late teens and pursued this viciously as a career. I was signed to four different record labels in the span of a decade. Played with bands (including Aversion, X-Members, Nullset a.k.a. Gangsta Bitch Barbie to name a few) that toured with the likes of No Doubt, Biohazard, Deftones, Sublime, NOFX, Pennywise, Blink 182, etc. etc. Eventually I became jaded on the industry and realized it was difficult if not impossible to control my own destiny in the music biz. I learned to tattoo in my early twenties but never had the time to focus on it due to my dedication to drumming and being on the road quite often. That all changed in 2003 as I dropped drumming and applied my creative passion to inking. I still keep my drumming chops up and do occasional shows. I just dont want to be that guy that keeps trying to be a rock star when hes pushin forty (fuckin gay). Anyway, Id probably jump on the chance to hit the road with a well-established band. I also have an amazing family which includes a loving wife, eight year-old son and another boy on the way I dig my life.
